About

There’s nothing quite like that feeling of freedom when you can throw away those “L” plates and drive alone out on the open road.  I’ve been driving for over 30 years now and I still just love getting into my mini and driving.  I learnt in one of the old style minis and it was just as much fun then as it is now.  I can’t think of a better car to learn in – they’ve got good vision, they’re compact and they’re very responsive to the controls.

I believe in teaching my pupils at their own pace –  gradually building up their skills and confidence not just preparing them for their driving test but preparing them for going solo and coping with today’s traffic and becoming safe drivers for life.

During the course I will teach all the key skills as advised by the DSA and we will practise all these skills until you reach the necessary standard in them in order for you to pass your test and then go on to drive safely alone.  I shall give you a sheet where we can keep a record of your progress.  Please note that it really isn’t advisable for you to go out and practice with another accompanying adult until you have learnt to carry out the emergency stop – for obvious reasons!
